PORTLAND, OR — May 24-26, 2013. Vida Vegan Con will again bring together vegan bloggers—amateur, professional, and blog-curious—for a weekend of learning, mingling, and exploring led by the vegan community’s most beloved personalities.
Portland Art Museum will host 300-plus vegan bloggers, enthusiasts, and professionals as they participate in classes, panel discussions, and workshops covering topics from food photography to business, blogging tech to building your brand. When we’re not in the classroom, we’re sharing exciting meals and checking out old favorites and new in vegan food, products, books, and more.
The first Vida Vegan Con, held in August 2011 at Portland’s University Place, brought together 250 vegans from all over the world, cementing a community of bloggers, and received a 2011 VegNews Veggie Award for holding a “Vegan Lovefest.” Speakers included Isa Chandra Moskowitz, Laura Beck, and Ginny Messina.
