Salt & Straw Celebrates the Fall Bounty with New Ice Cream Flavors and Warm Treats

Celebrate the new fall menu during their Fall Festival on Oct. 22, featuring live music, tastes of new products and pedicab hay rides

PORTLAND, Ore. (Oct. 19, 2011) – As the weather turns, we’re reminded of our favorite fall flavors, celebrating the holidays with friends and family and harvesting the autumn bounty. Salt & Straw took this opportunity to rediscover these favorite flavors and used them in some rather unexpected new ice creams. As they continue to use ice cream as a base for featuring the best Oregon has to offer, the pumpkins, cranberries and chestnuts at the local farmers markets inspired a whole new line up for fall. They’re celebrating their new menu with a Fall Festival at their scoop shop on Saturday, Oct. 22 at 3 p.m. The festival will feature live music, pedicab hay rides and of course tastes of all the new ice cream flavors.
