Hey there Lompoc fans, on this glorious summer day, we bring you a reminder about tonight’s release of Red Raisin, our popular Proletariat Red aged for three years in Bourbon barrels with 35 pounds of cherries. We’ll also have a number of guests on tap, including Alameda Brewhouse O.A.G. Lager, Breakside Brewing Farmhouse Golden, Eel River Brewing Acai Berry Wheat, Lucky Lab BENevolent Dictator, Sasquatch Brewing Pre-Prohibition Cream Ale, and 10 Barrel Road 41 Kölsch. The party will take place at Sidebar from 4 to 10 pm today. As with all our release parties, there will be complimentary appetizers.

Soccer fans, it all comes down to this: The Lompoc Soccer Team is in The Portland Timbers Corporate Cup Men’s Competitive Final match at JELD-WEN Field this Saturday, playing against Nike! The Corporate Cup brings Pacific Northwest corporations together for soccer while raising money for Timbers charity partner, Portland YouthBuilders. The tournament opens at 9 am, Lompoc will play at 11:30 am. Admission is $5, and all proceeds go to Portland Youth Builders. Lompoc will be in white sporting the Kick Axe MLS kits, as seen on www.facebook.com/LompocSoccerClub. Show your wristband at any Lompoc establishment on Saturday after the games and receive $3 off your bill (valid only 8/18). Go Lompoc!

Lompoc is once again a proud sponsor of the PDX Adult Soap Box Derby this Saturday from 10 am to 4 pm at Mt. Tabor. If you’ve never been to this event, you’re missing out; once every August, a brave group of racers convene on the daunting slopes of Mt. Tabor to test their metal to their mettle. Join in the fun and while you’re there, stop by the Lompoc VIP tent and say you’re a loyal customer and have a Kick Axe Soap Box beer on us (while supplies last)!
