Some of them will also be carrying our rye bread – in a smaller, 2 lb. size – and our rugelach. We’re working on some other stores as well.

Kenny & Zuke’s 2nd Annual Picklefest is coming, and it promises to be a doozy! It will be at beautiful NW Portland’s Wallace Park, with live music, more pickle participants, more food and beer options, and better pickle-tasting logistics.
The Participant list is a veritable Who’s-Who of the Portland restaurant scene, including Woodsman Tavern, Ned Ludd, Oven and Shaker, Bluehour, Tasty and Sons, Wildwood, Little Big Burger and Biwa, to name a few of the over 20 that have signed on. Oh…and us.

I’ve been asked by the City of New York and the organizers of the New York Food and Wine Festival to prepare a course for a special Shabbat Dinner on October 12th.
I’m thinking Duck Confit & Wild Mushroom Stiffed Cabbage with Melted Leeks, Red Pepper Sauce & Duck Cracklings.
