DRY CREEK VINEYARD
Healdsburg, California
Let’s welcome Brtan Fitzgerald of Grape
Expectations Wine Distributing Co., as we
sample wines from some the oldest vineyards
of the Dry Creek Valley of California’s Sonoma
County.
Founded in 1972 by David Stare, Dry Creek Vineyards paved the way for a mini- renaissance of winemaking and viticulture in the Dry Creek Valley. Before Dave’s arrival, the Dry Creek Valley was little more than a few family farms and prune orchards. It was Dave’s vision to start a Loire inspired winery
that would eventually reintroduce wine consumers to the wines of northern Sonoma County.
Dry Creek, with more than 35 years of growing and winemaking experience, is one of the few remaining family owned wineries left in California today.
Today’s second generation continues to build upon those early established values. Dave’s daughter Kim and husband, Don Wallace, are wholly committed to the quality of the wines being produced at Dry Creek, and their committment to the production of high quality wines continues on, while being mindful of Dave’s original vision.
We’ve been proudly working these wines since they stormed onto the scene, during my Barclay & Rudd days of the late ’70s in Washington, D.C.. They have always been some of our faves.
Get here. Aloha.

Ariana Harley
Artist’s Reception
A native Oregonian, Arianna graduated with a BFA from the Pacific NW College of Art.
She says, “A day does not pass that I do not consider painting. If I cannot be in my studio, I paint portraits in my mind.”
Arianna says she has been enriched by the stories and reflections of the people she has met in her travels and it is those stories, told through the eyes, the hands, the expression, that consumes her work. You’re welcome to check out her website: arianaharley.com. , but you really must see her work in person. Come and meet Arianna and see for yourself.
