Farm-to-table approach will now be available for diners from 11am-2pm with variety of dishes
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE—Paulée, the French-inspired wine country restaurant from James Beard-nominated Chef Daniel Mondok, is open for lunch! It’s not just the beautiful vineyards of Yamhill County that elicit visitors, Paulée’s ambitious farm-to-table approach draws diners of all sorts, and now they can enjoy lunch. Initially, Paulée will be open from 11am until 2pm Friday through Sunday, but diners will eventually be able to enjoy Mondok and chef du cuisine Sean Temple’s whimsical food—like the Croque Madame—six days a week (the restaurant is closed Tuesdays).
Paulée will offer lunch cuisine ranging from Fish & Chips with Taro Root and Apple-Curry Slaw to a traditional Burger with House Pickles, Chips and Tillamook White Cheddar as well as more breakfast-oriented items like Chicken & Waffles with Bacon Maple Syrup. The menu will also offer lighter options like a Nicoise Salad, or Tomatoes with Whipped Goat Cheese, Basil, Balsamic Vinaigrette and Sea Salt.
With more than 25 years of professional cooking and kitchen management experience between California and Oregon, Chef Mondok is known nationally for his “Best Chef Northwest” James Beard Award nomination in 2009. He also won Iron Chef Oregon from 2005-2007. Mondok and Temple, a Paley’s Place and Jean Georges alum, epitomize Paulée’s approach on the lunch menu: perfectly executed but never pretentious.
