August 10, 2011 – Portland, OR - Every good host needs a refresher course now and again on the basics of cocktail making. As the kids head back to school, Lincoln bar master and co-owner David Welch is giving willing pupils the 101 on cocktail techniques, fascinating cocktail lore, and of course, side-by-side tastings and recipes. On the syllabus for the next Bar Camps: basic cocktail making, essential classic drinks that everyone needs to have in their arsenal, and fun autumnal drinks for entertaining. Students will gather around the table post-session and enjoy a family-style meal prepared by executive chef and co-owner Jenn Louis, complete with cocktail pairings and a good buzz.

Saturday, September 17 – Bar Camp 101, “Desert Island” Cocktails
Saturday, October 15 – Bar Camp 101, Fall Cocktails
Time: 4:30-5:30 p.m. class, 5:30 p.m. dinner
