Tuesday Night Wine Tasting at Tabla Mediterranean Bistro 9.8.10

September 7, 2010

Greetings -

Since we got a little nod this week on The Tasting Table, I might as well give the people a taste of the aforementioned wine. The 2005 Corail from Château D’Arlay is a rosé that is made from three red grape varietals (Trousseau/Poulsard/Pinot Noir) and two white varietals (Savignin and Chardonnay), but what really makes it unique is that it is not made like a typical rosé wine, but as a red. The result is a rosé that behaves more like a light red, and as a matter of fact, it is darker than some reds I’ve seen from the Jura. Come see what all the fuss is about. All night tonight, $11/glass.

Best-
Michael Garofola, General Manager/Sommelier
