PORTLAND, Oregon – (September 7, 2010) – PROST! Raise your beer stein and celebrate Oktoberfest to help raise a roof for Habitat for Humanity Portland/Metro East. The Oktoberfest event, sponsored by The Campbell Group, will be held Thursday, October 21, 2010 from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. at the Heathman Restaurant & Bar. Tickets are $75 and include a selection of microbrews from Full Sail Brewing, wine from Westrey Wine Co., and traditional Alsace and German cuisine prepared by Culinary Director Philippe Boulot. Specialties include house-made boudin blanc, spicy pork sausage, charcuterie platters, pâté du maison and house-made spaetzle. There will be live music and an auction to raise additional funds to build a home for a local Habitat for Humanity family.
