cork’s Big Labor Day Sale Starts Tomorrow at 11am

Dear Bargain Seekers,

This is it. The weekend you’ve been waiting for. Every year, we hold one super big blow-out sale where everything in the store is 15% off at least, then we move everything around to showcase aisles of wine and beer that are 20%, 25% and 30% off and we rummage through our food, accessories and chocolate sections to find values marked down to 30%, 40% and even 50% off. Why do we do this? To help make room for all of those Fall arrivals that are coming up in conjunction with many wineries’ new release schedule and our Importer’s containers arriving.

cork is always about keeping the merchandise stored at the proper temperature, as I’m sure you know by the brisk cold air that hits you when you enter. But we also keep the inventory rotating rapidly so you know whatever you are going home with is in top condition. One way we’re able to do that is by having this big Labor Day Sale and we put the deepest discounts on the items that have been around the longest. It’s like getting someone to put the best parts of their wine cellar on sale! We just don’t believe in taking up our floorspace with storage, we want to keep rotating in new items to keep you interested in the assortment and coming back looking for new things to get your palate excited.

As a new feature this year, because we had a pretty brisk summer and the aisles were looking a little lean, we have actually ordered over $10,000 of NEW ARRIVALS that will be part of the sale, which starts at 11am Friday at both shops. So whether you are hunting for the last of your favorite summer whites and rosé or if you are hoping to try something new, the cork Labor Day Sale has what you’re looking for.

The savings begin at 11am Friday at both shops, with extended hours at our Northwest shop for this weekend only. Both shops are open:

Friday 11am-7pm
Saturday 11am-7pm
Sunday 12pm-5pm

Of course you’ll get the widest selection on Friday, but as the weekend draws to a close, some extra specials will pop up, so be sure to check back Sunday to perhaps find an even better deal on the last bottle of something you are after.
