Now that summer is finally here and the berry season is upon us, we long for the fresh sweet taste of a ripe, juicy peach. Pencil in the first week of August for the beginning of peach harvest. As with any crop, this is subject to weather so we will update you as we get closer to our opening date. Apples, pears and Veteran peach harvest is expected to begain after the middle of August. In the meantime, dust off your boxes from last year and join our new Facebook Page (if you haven’t done so already). I just posted pictures of the Veteran peaches. You can see how much they need to size and color up before they’re ready to be picked from the tree! Also find out about other happenings on the family farm.
