February 19, 2010

In honor of National Pet Month in February, the Jupiter will double the portion of proceeds from each of its pet-friendly guest rooms to benefit OHS

PORTLAND, Oregon (February 18, 2010) —  Hoof it down to the Jupiter’s DreamTENT for the monthly Yappy Hour sponsored by LexiDog Boutique & Social Club and the Jupiter Hotel as a benefit for the Oregon Humane Society. Local pet owners can mix and mingle with breeds of all kind – human included – at this monthly after work social hour from 6-8 p.m. at the Jupiter Hotel, 800 E. Burnside Ave. in Portland. Activities change monthly but there are always canine treats, pet artists, local Oregon and Washington wines and catered food. Attendance is free and open to the public; wine and food available for purchase.

“LexiDog started Yappy Hour with Urban Wineworks two years ago and brought OHS in right from the start,” said Suzanne Hein, owner of LexiDog. “We have remained very passionate about making Yappy Hour a long term Portland tradition and are excited to partner with the Jupiter Hotel throughout 2010.”
