So You Want to Be a Tart?

class schedule

Saturday, February 13th 6pm             $25

Sweets for the Sweet

(We’ve added a third “sweets” class, as the first two sold out early.)

In this class, we’ll bake heart-shaped lovelies for your sweetheart. Linzer, cappuccino creams, shortbread, and honey cinnamon grahams are on the docket for the evening.

Friday, February 26th 6pm             $20

Sticky Fingers

At the suggestion of several prior class alumni, this class will focus on two fun, sticky, and of course delicious items - caramel and marshmallow.  Caramel is best made by those with the ocd gene… it’s not necessarily difficult, rather, it merely requires great attention to detail.  Marshmallow is pure, simple magic, and gooey as hell.  Master it and become master over your friends and family.  Who can turn down a homemade marshmallow on their hot chocolate?  Naturally, we’ll make cookies utilizing both ingredients as well.

Classes run 90+ minutes and include hands-on participation.  Pricing is per person.  Reservations and deposit are required, as class space is limited.  E-mail jessica@twotartsbakery.com for additional info, or to reserve a space.

Stupor Bowl. this sunday, get your hand out of that bowl of chis and join us for free hot chocolate from 3-5pm.

[Doing my best Randy Jackson imitation] So look, dawg. It’s not that we don’t love sports (Lindsay, Levi, and Jessica are Blazer freaks, I live for baseball season, and Emily is an equal opportunity sports watcher.  Jka has yet to voice her opinion on sports, but we won’t push her, as she’s just now finally giving us a nod as to her musical likes and dislikes.) It’s just that we don’t get the hype surrounding the Super Bowl.  Truth be told, it might take a little research for us to answer that very basic of sports questions ”What two teams happen to be interrupting this year’s celebration of expensive commercials and wardrobe malfunctions?”

So for those of you who, like us, will not be tuned into CBS on Sunday, come have a little ho-cho on us!
