Teardrop Lounge – Bringing the Mountain to Mohammed: Erik Adkins

Teardrop Lounge is thrilled to host SF’s Erik Adkins for one night only this coming Sunday, February 7th, as he steps behind the bar to mix up some of his favorite drinks.

Erik Adkins is one of the most celebrated bartenders in the country and is responsible (for better or worse) for inspiring the next generation of Bay Area up-&-comers. Currently running the cocktail program at the highly revered Heaven’s Dog, he is responsible for the bar at the Slanted Door and for designing the menu, style, and identity at the classically inspired Flora in Oakland.
Erik likes to showcase spirits and cocktails that demonstrate a link to agriculture and to a specific place and time in history. Though by his own admission reticent to create cocktails, his overwhelming attention to detail shines through a flawless execution of classic drinks. There are those who insist he sprinkles fairy dust over a Tom Collins, but you’ll just have to come and see for yourself…
Sure, we know there’s some kind of game going on in the afternoon, but you need something to do with the night.  Join us Sunday night from 6pm-midnight for this very special event in our Mountain to Mohammed series.
