Our most popular class is back. Come learn the basics of wine tasting with a focus on sensory exercises to get your nose and palate in tune. Pat will lead a discussion of tannin, acid and sugar in wines. There will then be a tasting of a variety of wines from around the world and basic conversation about winemaking techniques. As we’ve had many requests over the years for weekend classes, we thought we’d try to give those of you with busy weekday schedules a chance to try a Saturday class. If you want to immerse yourself in the wines of Italy as we journey through all of the country’s regions, this class is an excellent chance to get a firm grasp on the geography and what each region has to offer.
