PORTLAND, Oregon (January 11, 2010) — Jet setting with your pet just got a bit sweeter with the Jupiter Hotel’s new pet –friendly guest rooms outfitted by Portland’s own LexiDog Boutique & Social Club. And for local Portland pet owners, the Jupiter will host a monthly Yappy Hour where pets and owners can mingle in style under the Jupiter’s DreamTENT. Partnering with the Oregon Humane Society and LexiDog, the Jupiter will host the social hour each month on the last Wednesday for humans and canines with fun activities, local wines, pet-related artists, and available pets for adoption from the Oregon Humane Society. Vibrant Table Catering will offer food for purchase at the event.
And, if you want to spend the night, with your best friend, the Jupiter Hotel offers pet-friendly guest rooms decked out with everything Fido needs – from a pet bed to water and food bowls. A portion of the proceeds from each guestroom will be donated to the Oregon Humane Society throughout 2010. Yappy Hour Benefits Animals at OHS
The Oregon Humane Society, LexiDog Boutique & Social Club and the Jupiter Hotel will partner in 2010 for monthly Yappy Hours under the DreamTENT at the Jupiter. Yappy Hour was voted best place to hang out with your pet by readers of Portland Monthly.
When: The last Wednesday of each month starting Wednesday, January 27th, 6-8 p.m.

Cost: Free to attend; a portion of all wine and refreshment sales will benefit the Oregon Humane Society.
Friendly dogs on leash are welcome to attend.
Pet-Friendly Rooms at the Jupiter
