Weekly Class Update

November 9, 2009

The countdown to Thanksgiving continues, and with Turkey Day only two weeks away, we’re busy finalizing the menu, stocking the pantry, and gathering our table settings. Have questions about what to serve alongside the turkey? Stop by our store and browse the cookbooks for new ideas.

We’re excited to host Chef Gregory Denton at our Pearl District Location. The chef from Metrovino will be creating a wonderful spread of dishes from his restaurant, paired with appropriate wines.

We’ve added some new classes recently. Looking into December, we have Cory Schreiber (Founder of Wildwood Restaurant), the winemaker from Leonetti Cellars, and Cheryl Wakerhauser from Pix Patisserie. It’s going to be an exciting season!
We look forward to seeing you this week at In Good Taste.

Sincerely,

Barbara Dawson

Recipe of the Week
Looking for a side dish to spice up the Thanksgiving table? Try this recipe for roasted sweet potatoes. It’s easy, requires little prep and fewer ingredients, and can be made ahead. It would also be good along side roasted chicken or grilled sausage.
Feel free to alter the amount of pepper and paprika if you’d like less heat.
