Buffet menu features array of unique dishes paired with traditional favorites
WELCHES (Mt. Hood), Ore. – (November 9, 2009) – The Resort at The Mountain (The Resort), a destination golf, spa and ski resort located on the western slope of Mt. Hood, invites guests to enjoy a generous Thanksgiving Day buffet with champagne in the Cascades Ballroom on Thursday, November 26 from 11:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
Created by Executive Chef Paul Bosch and his culinary team, the menu offers guests a blend of both classic and unconventional Thanksgiving items. Guests can enjoy customary entrees like Slow Roasted Turkey with Apricot-Pistachio Stuffing, more alternative fare such as Roasted Halibut with Toasted Pecans and a Pumpkin Beurre Blanc, or develop their own creation at the custom omelet station. A variety of starter items and salads will also be offered, and those with a sweet tooth can top off their meal with a decadent dessert such as Double-Crusted Cheddar Apple Pie or Eggnog Cheesecake with Caramel Whiskey Sauce.
“The Resort takes great pleasure in being a part of Thanksgiving traditions for many families in the Mt. Hood Territory and greater Portland region,” said Chef Bosch.
Available on Thursday, November 26, 2009 from 11:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., the Thanksgiving Day buffet with champagne is $36 per adult, $29 for seniors and $15 per child. Reservations are recommended and can be made by calling 503-622-3101.
