Bon Appétit’s Fidele Bauccio blogs about NRDC’s Growing Green Awards

Fidele Bauccio, founder and CEO of Bon Appétit Management Company, just posted a new blog about the Natural Resource Defense Council’s 2010 Growing Green Awards, which honor leaders in the sustainable food movement. Bauccio was the 2009 winner in the Business Leader category for his pioneering work addressing the connection between food and climate change as part of Bon Appétit’s Low Carbon Diet Initiative.
As Bauccio explains, “The Growing Green Awards recognize the extraordinary contributions that advance ecologically integrated farming practices, climate stewardship, water stewardship, farmland preservation, and social responsibility from farm to fork.”
