Burgerville Brings Cranberries to the Table
November 2, 2009
Hide the candy, lock up the skeletons and put away your costumes because Halloween is over. The end of October brings with it the beginning of the holiday season and at Burgerville, that means the introduction of its latest, limited time, gourmet menu offerings.
In the spirit of the holiday season, beginning on Tuesday, November 3, and lasting the entire month of November, Burgerville will be offering guests a selection of items featuring a traditional holiday favorite: cranberries.
Burgerville’s new Turkey Burger with Cranberry and Jalapeño Salsa pairs a turkey burger with cranberry salsa, lettuce and tomatoes on a fresh baked bun. The Vancouver-based chains Sweet Cranberry Bourbon Baked Beans blends sweet Kentucky Bourbon beans, kidney beans, and northern white beans all slow-cooked with local cranberries and sliced onions. The Cranberry Walnut Tart is baked with walnuts and locally produced, dried cranberries.
Burgerville’s cranberries are grown by Clearwater Cranberries and Meduri Farm, both locally owned and operated. Along with cranberries, their new menu items also feature bread from Portland French and cage-free eggs from Steibers Farm in Yelm, Washington. The Kentucky Bourbon Baked Beans are sustainably processed locally by Truitt Brothers in Salem, Oregon.
Today is as good as any day to make a trip to Burgerville so enjoy these items while you can!
