The Studio’s extended family of chefs, culinary writers and food artisans have come together. Hosted by Camas Davis and Mike Thelin, join chefs Chris Israel, Cathy Whims, Vitaly Paley, Cory Shreiber, Ken Rubin, Nong Poonsukwattan, Courtney Sproule & myself! Many dinners have already sold out. My dinner dances through the brushstrokes of a gift from a man from China . . . it is a personal piece of art that is one of the most beautiful gifts I have ever received. The morning light rises upon its frame and it has inspired my days for many years. I am very happy to now share that inspiration with you enfolded in a menu that celebrates giving, coming together and the ethereal moments captured by the Chef Studio. $85 includes your meal and wines.

I have to confess, they are late summer recipes. But you know what? You’re THAT much ahead of the game for summer 2010. That’s right. And come spring, I’ll post my autumn creations and we’ll just see how that turtle beats the hare. However, The Meadow is a bit more on the ball than myself and they have my Pomegranate & Asian Pear Salad with Marboroshi Plum Finishing Salt up on Salt News - http://www.saltnews.com/. Their salts are divine, and my eduction has begun!
